1. Products & Descriptions

• All candles are hand-poured and may vary slightly in color, size, and scent strength.

• Sometimes we forget exactly which scent blend is in which jar—that’s part of our charm. If you’re looking for a perfectly predictable candle, you may be in the wrong place.

2. Safety & Usage

​

• Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• Keep away from flammable materials, children, pets, and your 2012 tax paperwork.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended—no matter how good it smells.

• Follow the burn instructions provided on the label for optimal safety and enjoyment.

3. Orders & Payments

• Payment must be completed before your order is processed.

• We reserve the right to cancel orders that we suspect to be fraudulent or involve misuse of our products.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• We aim to ship orders promptly, but please remember: hand-poured candles take time (and we occasionally forget where we put the packing tape).

• Shipping times may vary depending on location and carrier.

• We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as weather events, postal strikes, or mysterious candle thieves.

5. Returns & Refunds

• Due to the nature of our products, returns are only accepted for unused candles in original packaging.

• If your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the product. We’ll make it right.

• We do not offer refunds for “I forgot I ordered this” situations—though we understand the irony.

6. Intellectual Property

• All branding, images, product names, and descriptions are the property of Forgetful Candles.

• Please don’t copy our work—trust us, we’ve already forgotten enough things without chasing copyright disputes.

7. Limitation of Liability

​

• By purchasing our products, you agree that Forgetful Candles is not liable for any damages, losses, or accidents caused by misuse of our products.

• Our candles are for enjoyment, not for replacing light bulbs, heating your house, or summoning spirits (we’ve seen enough movies to know how that ends).
